Press presentation of the National Parent Survey. Parents underestimate substance use (alcohol, cannabis and tobacco) by their children. This is particularly true for alcohol consumption. These are the findings of the National Parent Survey that has been submitted to Minister Rouvoet of the Ministry for Youth and Families. The press presentation coincides with the launch of a regional information campaign, aimed at increasing the knowledge and awareness of parents regarding youngsters and alcohol use. |

The Trimbos Institute is dedicated to youth mental health and wishes to contribute to improved quality of care for this group. Publication of the first of the GGZ mental health Trend Reports. The Dutch GGZ mental health service provides a great variety of care. It has become more flexible, on account of the introduction of market effects, but at the same time is in danger of becoming more complex. These are the findings of the 2008 GGZ Trend Reports of the Trimbos Institute. The reports consist of three parts. Current developments in mental health care are outlined on the basis of three core topics: 1. Organisation, structure and financing; 2. Care use and access and 3. Quality and effectiveness. |
