It provides a complete overview of interventions and research according to topic, as well as up-to-date statistics and a log book. There is also an overview of the prevention products offered by the Trimbos Institute.

First episode of ROES is broadcast: this is an 11 part drama series about alcohol and drug use, aimed at youngsters from the age of 12. The interactive series was produced on behalf of the Ministry for Youth and Family by film producers IDtv, and broadcasters VPRO, with content-related input from the Trimbos Institute. On the website www.roes.tv, visitors can exchange experiences, chat and post comments and film clips 24/7.

The Trimbos Institute calls on the Dutch Parliament to chart the results of three decades of drug policy in the Netherlands. In 1976 the Netherlands opted to steer its own course in drug policy, with protection of public health occupying a central position. Dutch drug policy since 1976 has never been evaluated across the spectrum, although there is a need for this.

European Collaborative Centres of the World Health Organization meet in Utrecht to discuss new priorities and activities. The conference was hosted by the Trimbos Institute. One of its aims is to reach agreement on priorities and activities in the implementation of the Mental Health Declaration and Action Plan for Europe.
